This award goes to the student(s) who have demonstrated in depth use of the key principles of Human Centered Research to develop their concept. Human-centered research is a problem-solving approach that prioritizes the needs and perspectives of the people who will use a product, service, or system, by involving them in every stage of the design process, from initial primary research to implementation and evaluation.

DAAP Co-op Award Winners Exemplify Creative Excellence
Each spring, the University of Cincinnati’s College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies honors students for outstanding achievement in experiential learning.
Eleven students in UC’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) were recognized for their achievements in cooperative education. Their stories help to illustrate why the University of Cincinnati is a top five university for co-ops and internships in the U.S. News Best Colleges rankings.

- November 2024, showed in the Northwest Arts Center's INT'L All Media 2024 exhibition.
- December 2024, had work in the 62nd Mid-States Art Exhibition in the Evansville Museum.
- December 2024, received a 2024 Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant
- January 2025, was presented in the INT’L Paperworks 2025 Exhibition at the Walter Piehl Gallery of the Northwest Arts Center at Minot State University.
