Directors' Choice
The Directors’ Choice specifically highlights the outstanding capstone projects that demonstrate exceptional knowledge, creativity, and skill that has been applied to a focused idea and then most effectively communicated by visual means.
Orville Simpson's Urban Future Forward
The Urban Future Forward award highlights the outstanding capstone projects within the School of Architecture and Interior Design and School of Planning that demonstrate sustainability, new building types, planning innovation, and technological invention.
Outstanding Graduating Students
The Outstanding Graduating Students are selected by faculty based on their academic achievement, professional activities, and participation in the life of the University through service to the program, college, and/or University. DAAP is proud to share the achievements of these students.
Additional Recognitions
Whether selected as part of the Directors' Choice, Outstanding Students, or another prestigious award, many of our students receive honors and recognition for their hard work and creative expressions via awards, scholarships, and media attention.
