Aronoff Virtual Gallery

Senator Stanley Aronoff, former President of the Ohio Senate, has always been a great advocate for the arts and creative disciplines, especially during his time in public office. This included his support of the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) for without it, the college would not be where it is today, housed in a building designed by the world-reknowned architect, Peter Eisenman.

This gallery is comprised of all the accolades and honors bestowed upon Senator Aronoff throughout his many years of service. It is one of the many ways to honor him and his legacy not only at DAAP but the State of Ohio and the creative disciplines at large.

DAAP's former Dean, Jay Chatterjee, worked closely with Senator Aronoff. This relationship and their shared vision benefitted the college, it's students, faculty, and staff tremendously. Dean Chatterjee noted, "Senator Aronoff's focus on the arts was unprecedented. He was a tireless worker who chose to dedicate his efforts to strengthening the arts for all to enjoy."
