2026 Computer & Supplies

All students are required to have a laptop. Studio programs also require supplies. The Supply Kit is a set of starter supplies that can be purchased through the DAAP Art Store or Blick Art Materials (formerly Plaza Art), both local vendors. Additional materials and software must be purchased separately. Buy required software at the start of the semester. There will be extra costs for printing and project materials.

Camera required for spring semester. Camera specifications:

  • DSLR or mirrorless camera with the ability to have an interchangeable lens
  • Approximately 20-30 megapixels
  • Manual and automatic exposure controls and focus
  • Video capability
  • Maximum ISO at least 1600, preferably 3200 or 6400
  • Minimum of 2 SD cards with a capacity of at least 16GB (32GB is recommended)
