The CDRI Service Center provides innovation services including the wide range of creative practices housed at the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). These services include but are not limited to concepts and development of products as a translation to improve the user experience with graphic and digital materials for research as follows:

Social Media graphics and marketing ads services:

  • 10 hours work (approximately)
  • One student and coordinator 
  • Initial meeting, 2 concepts, 1 refinement cycles, email communications; this includes one engagement graphic, for additional is $300 each).

Newsletter design services:

  • 30 hours work (approximately)
  • One student and coordinator

App design (concept) services:

  • 100 hours work (approximately)
  • One student and coordinator

Video design services:

  • 40 hours work (approximately)
  • One student and coordinator 
  • Initial meeting, capture up to 2 hours, 1 min video development, 1 refinement cycle, additional meetings/email communications, additional time charge by 15 min increments $200.
  • Approximate cost: $1600

Digitalization (architecture, product, other drawings) services:

  • TBD per project needs
  • One student and coordinator 
  • Approximate cost: $40/hr

Exploratory and Validation Services:

Workshop facilitation sessions for concept generation and/or validation services:

  • 4-8 hours 
  • 2-4 students student and coordinator and/or faculty with expertise
  • Initial meeting, materials preparation, refinement, facilitation 1 faculty/1student, depend on scale
  • Approximate cost: $2500-5000

We are hoping to engage with you in a variety of ways including funding students and faculty doing research. 

Did you know that with your support:

  • $1,000 will fund a day at CDRI to to get trained with a research software
  • $3,000 will fund a Graduate Student as a Graduate Assistant (GA) participating in research for one semester
  • $5,000 will fund a faculty with materials and supplies to develop a breakthrough idea
  • $5,000 will fund a day at CDRI to unleash creativity for your project
  • $25,000 will fund a 5 weeks project through CDRI with your company
