Back to School 2025: UC’s sustained growth

The University of Cincinnati will continue to see growth in enrollment as classes begin Monday, Aug. 25, with a projected 54,000 students — a 1.4% increase over last year.
The College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) immerses its students in learning and practice through real world experience-based learning in over 20 undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs which span a broad range of creative disciplines.
DAAP’s approach to education cements its reputation as one of the best art and design schools in the world. In DAAP, students explore their passions and create artifacts, environments, and graphics that impact and improve the world.

Students alternate time spent in the classroom with time spent in professional practice – working around the globe while building impressive resumes and professional networks.
Through innovative, interdisciplinary projects students work collaboratively with other disciplines across campus on projects brought by local, regional, and international organizations.

Architecture graduate student Tamara Nasr secured a co-op at Steven Holl Architects, a top-ranked, internationally recognized firm headquartered in Manhattan. It was the firm's first UC co-op experience, and they plan to continue the partnership.
