Cincinnati Architecture Mentoring Program (C.A.M.P.)
The Cincinnati Architecture Mentoring Program (C.A.M.P.), is a great way to experience what life would be like as an architect or designer. Architects help design and build the world we live in. So, if you enjoy drawing and creating things, and design buildings in Minecraft, Sims or with Legos, join us this summer to learn from and work with faculty from the DAAP School of Architecture and Interior Design (SAID). Tour architects’ offices and visit some great buildings on UC’s campus and throughout Cincinnati. Explore the creative process of designing buildings through hands-on projects incorporating drawing techniques and model-building.

C.A.M.P., in partnership with SAID, will offer a week-long day camp experience to introduce students to the creative and exciting world of architectural design. C.A.M.P. was formed in 2006 as a collaborative effort between SAID, the American Institute of Architects and the National Organization of Minority Architects to improve diversity in the field of Architecture. Priority will be given to minority applicants.

C.A.M.P. accepts applications, then confirms acceptance and tuition payment after confirmation.  The tuition is kept to a minimum, thanks to the generous support of local architectural firms and philanthropic organizations. Scholarships are available upon request based on need.
