In order to provide students with the highest quality education, the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) operates at the cutting edge with respect to integrating technology in studio-based curricula. We aim to provide our students access to resources, like DAAPspace, the Computer Graphics Center, Rapid Prototyping Center, shop, and photo facilities, which allow them to create better art, designs, products, spaces, and environments. Providing this level of technological sophistication comes at a substantial cost. To help maintain the level of service required to sustain superior facilities and equipment, DAAP has a program fee. Many design and art institutions have similar fees to cover the expenses inherent in studio-based programs.
