Pre-Art & Design Education Licensure

This program prepares teachers to apply for state licensure in art and design education. The coursework, practicums, and student teaching hours all comply with state license criteria and has for decades at UC.

Admission Requirements

Students can be admitted to the Pre Art & Design Licensure Certificate program as: University of Cincinnati students, Non-matriculated status students, or with permission of the Art and Design Education Licensure Director. Admission Criteria: Essay of Intent, Minimum GPA of 2.5, Minimum Credit Hours 30. 

To apply, students can turn in a completed application to the DAAP Student Affairs Office, 5470 Aronoff.
