The School of Architecture and Interior Design has had a rich tradition of creating leaders in the built environment for over 100 years. Cooperative education was invented at the University of Cincinnati in 1906 and has been a signature component of the architecture program since its inception in 1927. The Architecture program at UC was one of the first programs accredited by the NAAB, in 1947. Our Interior Design program consistently ranks in the top 10 undergraduate programs, and our Architecture program continues to be highly ranked.
Now more than ever, the School of Architecture and Interior Design needs your support to help us continue our tradition of academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement. While tuition and state funds cover the SAID’s basic expenses, it is the generous support of our alumni and friends that ensure our continued successes. If you chose to support the School please stipulate whether your gift should be to the Architecture Discretionary Fund or to the Interiors Discretionary Fund. Your gift allows us to support our students, attract top faculty, support the programs and publications of our student organizations, or provide access to emerging technologies in the classroom and studio. Your generosity can help in shaping an extraordinary future, no matter what the amount. Have questions? Please contact us!
