General Motors Minority Scholarships for Women and Under-represented Minorities

Description

The University of Cincinnati is one of the schools from which General Motors recruits for its transportation talent. The School of Design has enjoyed a rich history of partnership with General Motors. As part of this collaborative relationship, GM has established scholarships for students enrolled in several disciplines at the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, including Industrial Design Transportation Track and Fashion Design (design or product tracks). This particular scholarship is available exclusively to women and/or under-represented minorities).

Amount

$1350, four available

Eligibility

Full-time women/or under-represented minority students entering junior or senior years in either the Industrial Design (transportation track) or Fashion Design (design or product tracks) with a demonstrated interest in working in the automotive industry. Students must possess excellent verbal and written skills and leadership potential. Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 GPA at selection and maintain that average during the duration of time as a GM scholar.
