The Frances D. and Stanley Cohen Scholarships are awarded to students of good character who have shown enthusiasm, a desire to succeed in their fields, a consistently strong academic record, and financial need.

Full-time sophomores, juniors, pre-juniors, or seniors (as of the 2008-9 academic year) majoring in: Fashion Design (design or product tracks), Industrial Design (design or transportation tracks), or Graphic Design. Students must be of good character, have shown enthusiasm and desire to succeed in their fields, have attained a grade-point average of at least 3.0, and demonstrated financial need.

• Short application available in the School of Design Office • Letter outlining interests and aspirations in specific design field • Current resume • Statement of financial need • Names (only) of three faculty members who might serve as references • To: Cohen Scholarship Review Committee, c/o Nancy Brinker, Assistant Director, School of Design, 6415 Aronoff
