Experiences
Each group that has participated in the SW program has formed a supportive learning community. The distance from home and Cincinnati, and the absence of academic and co-operative employment timetables, requires self discipline and promotes responsibility to others in the group. The 2005 group were exceptional for their energetic mutual support and their maintenance of productive group cohesion. They invented exercises for getting to know each other and shared their skills for the benefit of the team. I learned a great deal about fostering co-operative learning from them.
