College Tours

We encourage all prospective students to visit DAAP and tour our award-winning facility. Our students are enrolled in a wide variety of disciplines: there's no better way to determine your own career path than to see first hand what our students are engaged in.

Tours are offered every Monday and Friday, 10:00 AM Eastern Time, during the Autumn quarter beginning Monday, September 29 and continuing through Friday, December 12, 2008. Meet with us in the Student Affairs Office, Room 5470, DAAP Aronoff Center. Those wishing to attend a tour and information session must make an appointment online at the Admissions web page.

Please note: The University of Cincinnati will be closed Friday, November 28, 2008 in observation of Thanksgiving. Winter quarter tours will resume on Friday, January 9, 2009.

Directions

Tours assemble in the Student Affairs Office, Room 5470, on the 5000 level of the DAAP Complex. Parking is available for a fee in the Clifton Court Garage -- enter campus from Clifton Avenue at Clifton Court, taking this road until it ends at the Clifton Court Garage ticket booth. There is a fee for parking in the garage. As you enter the garage, you will immediately see a tunnel entrance to the building. If you park on this level (Level 2), walk through the tunnel until you see an elevator to the right of the stairs (from the street level - Level 3 - the elevator is on your right just before you enter the building). Use the elevator to come up to Level 4. Turn right and enter the building. Follow the Grand Staircase up to the Student Records Office, room 5470.

If you plan to take the UC daily campus tour, the Office of Admissions will validate your parking ticket by giving you a parking pass. The College of DAAP does not validate parking.

Information Sessions

The School of Architecture and Interior Design offers an Information Session in conjunction with the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning each Monday morning at 11 AM and Friday morning at 9 AM, with the DAAP building tour at 10 AM, during academic quarters. These presentations allow prospective students and parents to learn more about the structure of curriculum and to understand how the Professional Practice (co-op) program is integrated into the courses of study. It also provides time for questions. Call the School of Architecture and Interior Design office at 513 556 6426 to schedule.
