Architecture or Evolution: Evolutionary Thinking and the New Natures of Inhabitation

Ryan Ludwig, Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor Ryan Ludwig has been awarded a prestigious MacDowell Colony Fellowship, as well as a Centrum Artist Residency, both taking place in the fall of 2018.While on fellowship and in residency, Ryan will be working on the writing of a book manuscript related to his academic research titled Architecture or Evolution: Evolutionary Thinking and the New Natures of Inhabitation.The book presents a historical and theoretical framework from which to understand the relation between human evolution and the constructed environments of inhabitation we create while living in the Anthropocene / Capitalocene.
