Group Focus Options

Urban Studies students have a variety of options to satisfy their Urban Studies Group Focus requirement (30 credits). They may choose one of the Certificate Programs or Minor Sequences listed below. Students may also develop their own Urban Studies Group focus with the approval of the Urban Studies Academic Advisor. If the Focus chosen requires more than 30 credit hours, students may apply the additional hours toward free elective program requirements. If the Focus chosen requires fewer than 30 credit hours, students must take related elective courses to total 30 credit hours. The approval of the Urban Studies Academic Advisor is necessary for all courses chosen.
