Renee Seward recently graduated with a Master's in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University. She is one of the 17 winners of the 2006-2007 World Studio Scholarship from the World Studio Foundation in New York. Additionally, Renee has just been appointed as the Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Digital Design program. Renee is working on a project that addresses a national problem by developing interactive tools for teaching 9-11 year old children with dyslexia to read. Building on existing research in learning and cognition, Renee's digital tools link letters and letter combinations to phonemes through moving images.
