Anton Harfmann is an associate professor in the School of Architecture and Interior Design and also serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Technology and Facilities in the college of DAAP. He is a registered architect with considerable construction experience. This enabled him to lead the construction of the DAAP Habitat for Humanity house in 1999 as well as lead the design and construction of UC Solar Decathlon entry in 2007. Through the Center for the Study of Practice, Professor Harfmann produced "Voices of Practice" a documentary film and archives project capturing the life histories of practicing architects and "Imagine Building," a documentary on the design and construction of the Lois and Richard Rosenthal Contemporary Arts Center.
