Donald Kelley teaches printmaking, drawing, and occaisionaly seminars and studios on special topics. Supported with funding from the Ohio Arts Council, and the University of Cincinnati Research Council, his 1998-99 lithography project, Avatar, examines the Ohio River with computer-manipulated images as a panoramic sequence in four 8" x 48" hand printed lithographs, and in the form of an accordion-fold book. He was curator and catalog author of the 1998 Reed Gallery exhibition, Pushing Boundaries: Lithographs from 9 American Fine Art Presses. Included in Who's Who in American Art, his prints are in the permanent collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum, the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Norton Simon Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County's Artist's Book Collection. Donald Kelley was awarded an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, in sculpture, for 2008.
