College Tours

We encourage all prospective students to visit DAAP and tour our award-winning facility. Our students are enrolled in a wide variety of disciplines: there's no better way to determine your own career path than to see first hand what our students are engaged in.

Tours are offered every Monday and Friday, 10:00 AM Eastern Time, during the Summer quarter beginning Friday, June 27 and continuing through Monday, August 18, 2008. Meet with us in the Student Affairs Office, Room 5470, DAAP Aronoff Center. Those wishing to attend a tour and information session must make an appointment online at the Admissions web page.

Please note: The University of Cincinnati will be closed Friday, July 4, 2008 in observation of Independence Day. Autumn quarter tours will resume on Monday, September 29, 2008.

Directions

Tours assemble in the Student Affairs Office, Room 5470, on the 5000 level of the DAAP Complex. Parking is available for a fee in the Woodside or Campus Green Garages, just off Martin Luther King. View the West Campus Map for specific directions.

If you plan to take the UC daily campus tour, the Office of Admissions will validate your parking ticket by giving you a parking pass. The College of DAAP does not validate parking.

Open House and Presentation

The School of Design offers an Open House in conjunction with the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning each Friday morning at 11 a.m., following the DAAP building tour at 10 a.m., during academic quarters. These presentations allow prospective students and parents to learn more about the structure of the design curriculum and to understand how the Professional Practice (co-op) program is integrated into the courses of study. It also provides time for questions. Call the School of Design office at 513 556 6828 to schedule.
