Service to Society

The Graduate Program in Design is closely allied with the College of DAAP Design Research Institute, which has recently been established in partnership with state and regional corporations to develop knowledge about design and culture that can be shared in the corporate, academic, and public sectors. This higher-level study is much needed today in order to advance strategic decision-making and to better explain the increasing importance of design expertise in corporate research and development as well as production and service management.
