Undergraduate Ceramics
The undergraduate program in Ceramics is designed to promote exploration in three-dimensional form using clay as the expressive fine art medium.
The Ceramics studio is housed in an area of approximately 5000 square feet. Included in the facility are six electric kilns, a raku and smoke facility and a separate kiln house containing a 90 cubic foot car kiln and two smaller front loading gas kilns.

Students are encouraged early on to develop their own ideas and conceptual direction. Research into different firing methods and techniques, experimental glaze surfaces, and after fired surface manipulation are also promoted.
