School of Art Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of numerous alumni and friends of the college, scholarships are available to students in the School of Art.
There is an application process which varies by scholarship. Deadline dates will vary. Please review thoroughly the information links below to learn the requirements of those scholarships which pertain to you.
Robert Fabe/Cook-Trane Fine Arts Award
This award assists students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. The number and amount of awards vary according to available funds. An award is given each year to the student(s) judged to have submitted the best portfolio for undergraduate review. more
The Dr. Jonathan Riess Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Dr. Jonathan Riess, a longtime professor of art history in DAAP. This fund provides scholarships to art history students who demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to the field, leadership and service. Sophomores and juniors are invited to apply for this $1,000 scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year. more
George Stricevic Travel/Book Fund
Created in honor of the late George Stricevic (1929-1999), a former professor of art history at UC, a scholarship will be awarded to a juio, senior or graduate student particularly interested in studying Early Christian and/or Byzantine art history. The $500 scholarship may support travel or book needs. more
The Jean Tatgenhorst Conrad Travel Fellowship Fund
This travel fellowship fund is available for fine arts or art history juniors, seniors, or graduate students who wish to visit a particular city, collection, or archeological site. Applicants submit a letter of intention, detailing when, where, and why you wish to visit this destination. more
Wolfstein Freshman Scholarship
Scholarships are available annually to entering freshmen in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of portfolio review and the students' academic record as evidenced in the high school transcript. more
Wolfstein Travel Fellowships
Traveling fellowships of up to $2,500 are available each year, and are awarded on a competitive basis, to either juniors or first-year graduate students in fine arts, for national or international travel. The fellowships are awarded based on submission of travel itineraries and statements of relevance by qualified applicants. more

Hyde Park Art Show Scholarship
The Hyde Park Square Art Show awards a $2,500 Scholarship Award that will be applied to the recipient’s senior year fall term tuition. Information about this scholarship typically is published in the spring.
Three Arts Scholarship Fund
Various scholarships sponsored by the Three Arts Scholarship Fund, Inc. are available for junior and senior women in DAAP who exhibit exceptional talent. Information about this scholarship typically is published in the spring.
