Students should apply for college-wide scholarships online. The application is expected to open in January. Applications for School scholarships are available in School offices. The application deadline is April 15, 2012 unless otherwise noted on application materials. To be considered for scholarships based on financial need, be sure to submit FAFSA information to UC.
Thanks to the generosity of numerous alumni and friends of the college, both college-wide and discipline-specific scholarships are available to students in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.
These scholarships are available primarily for students who are continuing in our programs at the present time, sophomore level and above. There are no scholarships for which entering freshman or graduate students may apply directly; they are advised to consult with the Student Financial Aid Office (340 University Pavilion or 513 556 2420) for scholarship and financial aid information.
This scholarship information relates to funds that will be awarded the following year.
For all college-wide scholarships, applicants must complete the online application. Students must enter faculty members' names on their application in order to allow faculty members to have access to their recommendation forms; this is also an online process. Scholarships specific to each school have particular application processes. (You cannot apply online for scholarships offered through your school.) To learn more about each scholarship, including the application process, please click on the appropriate links below.
In most cases, Winter Quarter is the time to prepare applications for scholarships to be awarded for the next academic year. The process of award varies by scholarship: some require an application, either online or hard-copy; some require submission of a letter or a portfolio; many require from 1-3 faculty recommendations. Deadline dates will vary. Please review thoroughly the information links below to learn the process of those scholarships which pertain to you. It is highly recommended that you submit FAFSA information to UC.

Scholarships are "free money" generally awarded on the basis of talent or merit and are not paid back. Additionally, any scholarship that you receive may reduce or replace the self-help (loan or work-study) portion of your aid package. You must notify the Student Financial Aid Office of any scholarships you receive from an outside source that are not already listed on your financial aid award offer.
