Students who attend the University of Cincinnati are encouraged to apply for financial aid. The Student Financial Aid Office is committed to making education as affordable as possible. Every effort will be made to identify university, federal and state resources to assist both undergraduate and graduate students in fulfilling their educational goals.
Through the generoristy of donors, DAAP offers scholarships exclusive to its student body. These scholarships are primarily reserved for students who are in good academic standing at DAAP (i.e. sophomore year and above).
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used annually to apply for all work-study, loan and undergraduate grant programs. Once the FAFSA is submitted and confirmation of it being processed is received, students can check their aid status at the Student Financial Aid Office website. Complete the FAFSA as soon after January 1 as possible. Because some aid programs are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, an early application receives priority consideration for limited funding sources.
High school applicants who submit a completed application by December 1 will automatically be considered for the Cincinnatus Scholarship program. Students accepted into DAAP will receive a complete financial aid package through ground mail by April 1. This package is assembled by the Office of Financial Aid.
