Thank you for your interest in the University of Cincinnati (UC) and the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). As one of the most comprehensive schools of art and design in the United States, DAAP is a dynamic and exciting environment in which to study. Students work closely with engaged faculty members and collaborate with professionals and other students involved in a variety of disciplines. The professional practice program, required in many of our disciplines, offers students paid, professional-level, real-world experience that supplements a rigorous educational curriculum.
Your Next Steps
To learn more about the college and its programs, we recommend the following steps:
Step 1: Explore the DAAP website to learn more about our undergraduate or graduate programs. Then contact us to request more information. You'll receive UC and DAAP mailers and a DAAP representative will contact you.
Step 2: Visit us! On most Mondays and Fridays, we offer tours of our facilities and information sessions. For students new to UC, we recommend a campus tour as well. All tours and information sessions can be scheduled with the Office of Admissions.
Step 3: If you have additional questions or concerns, contact DAAP Student Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org or 513-556-1376. We are here to help and want to make sure that you have all the information you need.
Step 4: Apply for admission. Current high school students, please note that portfolios are not accepted as a component of the admission application for any undergraduate program. More information about the admissions process for an individual program can be found by following the links for undergraduate or graduate programs.
