School of Planning Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of numerous alumni and friends of the college, scholarships are available to students in the School of Planning.

The School of Planning scholarship process is online.

Submitting FAFSA information is required for those scholarships that are based on financial need.

The DAAP college-wide and school specific scholarship application is closed. We will begin accepting applications in the spring of 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year. More information regarding dates and deadlines will be available in the spring.

School of Planning Scholarships

Harris Forusz and Ido deGroot Scholarship

This scholarship, in memory of two DAAP faculty members, provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Community Planning. Deserving students are selected on the basis of academic merit and financial need; undergraduates must be in final two years of program and graduate students must be in the final year of study.

This fellowship is to support a graduate student studying in environmental design towards a part of their degree in Masters of Science, Masters of Design, or Masters of Community Planning.

Seasongood Summer Internship

This summer internship is available for juniors, seniors, and graduate students in the School of Planning interested in government or administration to work under the supervision of government professionals in the City of Cincinnati.

Eligibility
Current juniors, seniors, and graduate students in the School of Planning. Interns work under supervision of local government professionals in the City of Cincinnati.

Submit
A letter of intent should be submitted to the director of the School of Planning, Danilo Palazzo, in January. This letter should explain why you are requesting the scholarship and why it should be awarded to you.

Deadline
