The curriculum consists of a mix of general and specialized lecture or seminar courses and a capstone project. The Urban Studies program is a broad-based pre-professional program, leading to a liberal arts degree Bachelor of Science degree. An urban orientation is instilled through the 42 credit hours of urban studies core courses and 24 credit hours of urban focus elective courses. In addition, students are required to take 9 credit hours of international focus elective courses. Critical analysis is developed in research methods courses and a capstone.
