Undergraduate Study Abroad

Fourth and fifth year undergraduates in the Bachelor of Urban Planning program and third and fourth year students in the Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies program now have the opportunity to spend the first quarter of the academic year at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Amsterdam, and at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Istanbul Technical University while Dutch and Turkish students study at the School of Planning in Cincinnati. UC students take a full schedule of courses in Amsterdam or Istanbul, all of which receive credit in the BUP and BSUS programs. A normal course load at the University of Amsterdam or Istanbul Technical University is 4 courses, for which UC students receive 16 quarter credits in the BUP or BSUS program. The Dutch and Turkish programs are supervised by Dr. David J. Edelman, the Director of the School of Planning.

For course information at the University of Amsterdam, visit their Course Catalog website.

For course information at Instanbul Technical University, visit their Urban and Regional Planning Program website. Then click on "lisans programi" and "2011-2012 yüli programi". Look for the English-language course titles for the courses you can take while studying there.
