Zachary Copfer

Zachary Copfer is an artist/microbiologist with an MFA from UC and a bachelors degree in the Biological Sciences. Copfer's work challenges the rigid boundaries between art and science by employing scientific tools and methods to generate beautiful artistic imagery. His blog, Science to the Power of Art, contains images of his own art along with an archive of interesting discoveries from the scientific community at large.
