Jenny Ustick works in a range of media from drawing to film, photography to fibers. While showing a variety of solo 2D and 3D work regionally and nationally, she is quite productive on a collaborative level. The Dozens: Multiply, a collection of animated music videos, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in 2006 and went on to several national and international film festivals. Since then, she has been creating multimedia installations with Denise Burge and Lisa Siders under the names Maidens of the Cosmic Body Running, and Black Forest Project (also including Tracy Featherstone). Additionally, Jenny is deeply involved in public art in Cincinnati. She is a founding member of a yarn bombing collective called the Bombshells of Cincinnati, whose work has adorned the city’s major cultural institutions. She has also completed several high-profile murals with ArtWorks Cincinnati, and continues to expand her public profile and reach.
