The Saturday Art Program at the University of Cincinnati is for children and adolescents, grades K-12, taking place in the morning on six Saturdays, October - November. The program is taught by undergraduate and graduate students earning visual-art licensure in the State of Ohio and supervised by fulltime professors in art education. The general goal is to develop the whole child and adolescent through exploring the natural intersection between art and living in the ongoing search for life's meaning. Pursuit of this goal requires attention to differences among youngsters, including different aptitudes and sensitivities, age-related developmental levels, social-cultural influences, and different exposures to art
